This past fall there were alternating periods of warm and cold weather. Perhaps as a result, the timing of leaf color changes at the creek seemed a bit uncoordinated, with some tree’s leaves turning yellow and dropping, while other nearby trees of the same variety remained green. Regardless of the timing, it was nice standing amongst the trees when the leaves were floating down.
